This high-precision conical mirror is fabricated from H-K9L optical glass, offering excellent transmittance from 350 nm to 2000 nm, low bubble and inclusion content, and high mechanical stability.
The conical surface is precision polished and coated with aluminum to achieve high reflectivity, while the cylindrical outer wall and bottom remain uncoated to reduce unwanted back reflections and facilitate opto‑mechanical assembly.
This conical mirror is designed to convert a collimated beam into a ring-shaped beam or to redirect light in a 360° radial pattern. Typical applications include:
Laser beam shaping – Generation of annular or donut‑shaped beams for laser processing, alignment, or calibration.
360° illumination systems – Used in machine vision, borehole inspection, and panoramic imaging to project or collect light uniformly around an axis.
Laser drilling & welding – Creating circular spots or ring‑focus profiles on cylindrical or concave surfaces.
LiDAR & optical sensing – Deflecting beams radially for omni‑directional scanning or target detection.
Collimation testing & optical metrology – Producing reference ring patterns for alignment of optical systems.
